I spent a little time stamping out pretty images for some relaxing detail coloring. I like to make a big batch of images that I can color – just like a coloring book. Then blend in some ink into the backgrounds to take away the stark white paper and make the images pop. It’s so fun and easy to practice crafting little art pieces, and then assembling them into cards. For some, I stamped the images in a color instead of black. Then I added colored in, blending with the alcohol markers. Go to my tutorial about blending…
Need to craft a batch of quick cards? Check out these cards using Splendid by Paige Evans from American Crafts with a fun colorful theme. After coming up with a design I like, I made two – making it double easy. This cute set included die cut embellishments, and I added a Happy Birthday stamp to finish them off. I hope my friends enjoyed their little gift and can use…

Some bonus cards: Using a topper kit…

I started by stamping out a bunch of hummingbird and flower stamps on colored paper and watercolor paper. Then I used my favorite Aqua Markers in bright fun colors, keeping the coloring loose and using some simple shading to add dimension. After die cutting them out, they were ready to embellish my card bases. The ideas just kept…
