I love the red white & blue color palette and collage style of this card making kit – all centered around Alice in Wonderland characters and imagery. I stamped a bunch of the sentiments that have some great font combinations and kitschy phrases, then I also stamped a whole page of the little imagery – Alice, pocket watch, playing cards, drink bottle, tea cup, cupcake, top hat – and colored them with some shading to add dimension. In addition to machine sewing on my handmade cards, I love adding vintage items as a focal point. We have some excellent flea markets in Ohio, and one I especially like is the Springfield Antique Show & Flea Market. The market holds outdoor Extravaganzas in May and September, with hundreds of vendors selling a little of everything. And thanks to the Midwest location, prices are great too.
