Crafters Companion Floral Creations Cards – Such Beautiful Paper Bouquets

The Crafters Companion Floral Creations die set is so fun with a huge variety of blooms to craft beautiful bouquets for cards. The set comes with a little divided storage box so you can cut and assemble a bunch and keep them for future card projects. I sat down for a session of die cutting with a mix of colored paper and after an hour or two, I had a big batch of blooms for my cards. I took inspiration from the sample on the box and crafted a background of a pretty floral paper frame and a more subtle…

Vintage Butterfly Collage Card – Send to a Special Friend

I just love the Vintage Butterfly Collection from Crafter’s Companion, and even use the components to enhance other collections. There’s a whole page of stamps and dies with a postal / tickets / labels theme that I keep on my craft table to create quick ephemera. These are so easy to layer in card front compositions. This is an example of a collage card that just came together so easily, featuring the collage style butterfly embossing folder. I also layered…

Crafting Homemade Macrame Cards with My New Favorite Die Set!

I paired it with Crafter’s Companion Bohemian Collection, especially the Bohemian paper pad with its layered imagery of dream catchers, pretty beads, feathers, and florals in…

Handmade Christmas Card Gallery 2023

This year I created 40 cards using several different craft kits and themes. I tried different techniques with the sets and really had fun crafting them for family and friends! I love the vintage look of this craft kit from LDRS. I added some tearing, twine and glitter to play up the layered look of the background papers. This die cut set from My Diamond Press is my favorite from this season. It brings me back to the 80s with the look of clove studded oranges, potpourri, and dried flowers. I cut a bunch of the foliage in different greens…
