This year I created 40 cards using several different craft kits and themes. I tried different techniques with the sets and really had fun crafting them for family and friends! I love the vintage look of this craft kit from LDRS. I added some tearing, twine and glitter to play up the layered look of the background papers. I love this Hunky Dory kit for making beautiful and quick cards for Christmas 2022. The kit includes letter size card stock for the bases, plus tons of gold foil toppers and sentiments. The floral illustrations have a modern country feel with mason jars, twine and vintage lettering. And best of all they craft together so easily! I’ve been crafting like mad for our annual Christmas bazaar at our church, and having a lot of fun in the process. I think my mesh wreath skills are improving – I tried a couple with sparkle and a couple with muted burlap tones. All in the classic colors of red and green. These four are all made on a 14 inch wreath base for a nice large finished size with lots of fluff. I love Crafter’s Companion cardmaking collections, and I selected the Watercolor Christmas for crafting my cards this year. The paper color palette has such a soft feeling, with winter foliage, snowflakes, and woodland critters – all celebrating the Christmas season. The stamps have different scene builders like a little tree to decorate, a banner, presents, and a sled. But the kicker for me is the idea of watercoloring the stamps.
