I love the red white & blue color palette and collage style of this card making kit – all centered around Alice in Wonderland characters and imagery. I stamped a bunch of the sentiments that have some great font combinations and kitschy phrases, then I also stamped a whole page of the little imagery – Alice, pocket watch, playing cards, drink bottle, tea cup, cupcake, top hat – and colored them with some shading to add dimension. I crafted a beautiful set of cards using the Delightful Daisies collection from Crafters Companion. The items that drew me to the collection was the designer paper pad, the springtime color palette, and the pretty embossed daisy die cut. After one look at this Hummingbird Collection by Crafter’s Companion, I knew I would love crafting with all the beautiful elements. The imagery on the papers and stamps, combined with the tropical color palette easily came together into gorgeous projects. I started by stamping out a bunch of hummingbird and flower stamps on colored paper and watercolor paper. Then I used my favorite Aqua Markers in bright fun colors, keeping the coloring loose and using some simple shading to add dimension.
