Cardmaking with Crafters Companion Autumn Blessings – Gorgeous Fall Colors!

I broke out this beautiful collection on a cool sunny day and really got that “fall feeling”. Fall is definitely my favorite season – I’m a cool weather gal. Plus it’s craft festival season in Ohio, and I love gathering inspiration and treating myself to a warm funnel cake!

The paper in this collection is what sold me, but all the elements are so usable. In a couple days I crafted about a dozen inspirational cards to send to people who could use a hug in the mail.

A Cheerful Stepper Card and Easel Card

I created a faux watercolor look with Crafters Companion aqua markers. These are new for me and I’m loving how easy they are to use! I like to dab each little section of the stamp with a lighter and a darker shade of each color then blend together with a slightly wet brush. I think the result is vibrant and fresh, and it’s super quick to do.

Zed Fold and Side Stepper Cards

I’ve learned how to make these multi-fold cards and like how they have space to layer the beautiful patterned papers and stamps. Wrapping in some twine adds even more texture.

Six Inch Square Cards Highlighting Unique Die Cut Shapes

Check out these die cut shapes – the wood slice, toadstools and fall leaves. I love how unique they are and how they frame sentiments so well. They have stenciling areas on the die to ink on even more details! I also think the size of these are perfect to craft place settings for Thanksgiving dinner.

Wishing you all a happy fall and looking forward to the Holiday season!
