Inspirational Easter Card

Easter is obviously a special time at our church, and the beautiful spring flowers with our colorful stained glass windows creates an atmosphere of inspiration for all of us to enjoy while we celebrate. I recently took an extra minute to snap a photo of this beautiful scene, for a crafty card idea.

I have made several of these and sold them during our Sweets Sale just before Easter. They are a little special gift, with our stained glass cross and homemade crafty touches, to give to another church member who recently moved or could not attend Easter service.

This crafty idea can be made with any colorful springtime photo you have. There are many types of inspirational wording stickers you can use. This version uses metallic gold as a regal accent with the inspirational words stickers and flower centers.

Supplies:
(I found my supplies at Hobby Lobby. Select colors to coordinate with your photo.

Textured card stock cards and envelopes (A7 or 5 x 7 inches folded)

4 x 6 photo print

Adhesive of your choice (I like my big glue stick or double sided tape.)

Small paper flowers (I pulled the pearls off the centers, but you can also use them as is.)

Glitter glue

Tacky Glue

Inspirational Wording stickers with clear background

Instructions:
(This is a great project to make in an assembly line for multiples.)

Securely attach your photo onto the center front of the card.

Add the inspirational words stickers, overlapping the photo in an area that still allows the words to be readable.

Arrange the paper flowers around the photo and words. Use tacky glue to attach the flowers in place. Let dry.

Add dots of glitter glue to the centers of each flower. Let dry.

Tada! Share the beauty of Easter.
